Denis Romanovski – Artist CV

Bio
Denis Romanovski (born in Minsk, Belarus; based in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a multidisciplinary artist mostly working with performance art as well as other various media. His practice explores the dynamics between the collective and the individual, often using humour and poetic gestures to engage audiences in negotiation, participation, and reflection.
Notable works include Democratic Salad, How to Divide a Million?, and A Concert for Flowers, Horizon series which examine social interaction and collective processes, while works like Lip-sync News and Cardboard Camera address transformations in media and information. Since the early 2000s Denis has presented his work internationally. In addition to his artistic practice, he has been active as a curator and organiser of thematic projects, exchange programs, and performance art festivals.
